General Manager – Greg Schursky
Greg Schursky has been involved in Phoenix’s hockey community for nearly 17 years. He holds an Advanced Level 4 USA Hockey Coaching certificate and has previously been General Manager of Arizona State University’s hockey team and a board member of the Arizona High School Hockey Association. He is the founding member and owner of the Arizona Hawks.
Head Coach – Luke Hernandez
Luke’s playing career, which he spent most of his time in the NAHL, BCHL and AJHL and also short stops in WHL and USHL was as a goalie. After playing, Luke started scouting for multiple Jr. A teams the past 3 years and as well volunteer Coach of the University of New Mexico (ACHA) for a short time. Luke had the pleasure of being mentored by former NHL goalie Jamie Storr and as well help during camps.
Jeff Larish BLS, CF-L1, USAW
Owner/General Manager/Head of Sports Performance/Coach
Jeff is an owner, general manager, head of sports performance, and coach at The DRC. He manages the day-to-day operations, as well as overseeing the DRC sports performance programs. Jeff currently serves as a mental conditioning coach for the SCC volleyball program, as well as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for AZVC’s 13U-18U.
Jeff is a former Major League Baseball player with the Detroit Tigers & Oakland A’s. He was an All-American at Arizona State University (ASU), where he became 1 of 3 players in College World Series history to hit 3 homeruns in a game and was later voted 1 of the top 30 players in ASU history. While at ASU, Jeff was a Member of Team USA Baseball. He was also All-State and All-Region at McClintock High School (Tempe, AZ). Jeff earned a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from ASU. He is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, CrossFit Judge, certified USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach, and a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Jeff was introduced to the CrossFit methodology in 2006 and began to incorporate the methodology into his sport performance training. He has first hand experience of the productive effects that this style of training can have at an elite sport performance level.

Dr. Stephen Hofmeir – DC, MUAC, CSCS, DACBSP
In addition to full time chiropractic practice, Dr. Hofmeir provides on-site sports medical coverage for many sports teams and events, including the sports medicine rotation at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, the PGA Tour medical staff, and the Arizona Hawks. He is a member of the National Strength and Condition Association, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.), and a member of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (D.A.C.B.S.P.).
